Yes. I offer flexible childcare arrangements depending on each family's needs and my availability. This can include regular part-time nanny support, occasional childcare, support during special events or temporary childcare needs. Yes. Newborn and baby care is my main speciality. I support families with daily routines, age-appropriate activities, sleep routines, baby walks and creating a calm and secure environment during the early years.

Yes. Upon request, I provide professional childcare support for weddings, family celebrations and private events. My goal is to help families enjoy special moments with peace of mind, knowing their children are cared for by a trusted professional.

Yes. I have experience caring for multiple children at the same time, including twins and families with several siblings. I adapt routines and activities to ensure every child receives attention and support.

My main focus is always the child. I do not combine childcare with general household work, as I believe children benefit from having a caregiver who is fully present and engaged. Child-related tasks, such as preparing simple meals, tidying toys and cleaning up after activities, are naturally part of childcare.

I currently provide childcare services in Basel and the surrounding areas, including Basel-Stadt, Basel-Landschaft and nearby areas. If you are located slightly outside these areas, feel free to contact me to discuss availability.

Travel support may be available depending on the length of the trip, destination and availability. I have experience supporting families while traveling and understand the importance of maintaining children's routines and feeling of security in new environments.

I provide services primarily in English. I speak Finnish as my native language and Swedish fluently, have conversational level Spanish and basic knowledge of German and French. Language preferences can be discussed during the consultation.

Yes. North Star Nannies operates according to Swiss requirements and childcare services are provided in compliance with Swiss regulations. I hold a B permit.

Yes. Having access to a car allows me to support families in nearby areas where traveling by public transport may be less convenient.
